This ticket option offers a seamless experience, allowing you to enjoy the festival without the need to arrange your own transport.
Transport Information:
Please arrive at your selected departure point no later than 9:45am for a 10:00am departure.
The journey to McLaren Vale will have you arriving at the NEAT Sips Fortified Festival by approximately 11:15am.
At the end of the day, you will need to depart the festival at 4:00pm and head to the coaches, which will leave from McLaren Vale Distillery at 4:15pm sharp, returning you to your original venue.
2KW Return Option:
If you select 2KW Bar as your return venue, you will receive a drink voucher to enjoy upon arrival, rounding out the day with a relaxed rooftop experience in the heart of the city.

Neat Sips Fortified Festival is a celebration of fortified wines, showcasing producers from all over the country. The event features tastings, masterclasses, food and entertainment for the whole family.

The festival will be held on the 6th and 7th September 2025 (Father’s Day weekend) from 11am to 5pm each day at McLaren Vale Distillery, South Australia. The festival will be held outside under marquees. The ground is a mix of gravel and lawn, so we suggest wearing appropriate footwear.

Tickets can be purchased online through our official festival website, which will take you to the Eventbrite page. Early bird tickets are available at a discounted rate until the 31st of July, 2025.

Tickets include entry to the festival, a RIEDEL tasting glass, five producer tastings (equivalent to one standard drink) and live entertainment. Additional tastings and wine purchases are not included in the ticket price.

This is a family friendly event. We will have a kids activity area set up to entertain them throughout the day. There will be seating available but you are also welcome to bring a picnic rug if you would like.

The festival will feature a diverse selection of fortified wines from various South Australian producers, including tawny, apera, muscat, topaque, and vermouth.

Yes, once you redeem the tastings included in your ticket, all wines tasted at the festival will be available for purchase directly from the producers' stalls, either as a tasting or as a bottle to takeaway. All wines by the glass, bottles to be enjoyed onsite, beer, and cocktails are available at the festival bar.

Upon entry, you will receive a RIEDEL festival glass and a tasting card. You can visit different producer stalls to sample their fortified wines. Once you have redeemed the tastings on your card, you can purchase additional tastings or bottles to take-away from producers' stalls, or a range of other drinks from the festival bar.

Yes, we offer several masterclasses and workshops led by industry experts. These require a separate ticket, and spaces are limited, so we recommend booking in advance.

The festival will feature a variety of food vendors offering premium produce that pairs well with fortified wines. Arkhe is our restaurant partner and will be cooking over the flames to bring us a delicious menu. We will also have oyster producers and cheese makers amongst other produce stalls.

Yes, there will be live music over the two days, and the footy will be played on the big screen behind the bar.,

Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue. Williams Charity will manage parking, with gold coin donation required on entry.
